PAN CEO Discusses Stem Cell Research on BioCenturyTV
Embryonic stem cell research provides great hope for millions of patients and their families, including people with Parkinson’s disease. As you know, federal court case Sherley v. Sebelius was dismissed by Judge Royce Lamberth in July 2011, who ruled that federal funding for this research is not prohibited by federal law, and can continue. PAN CEO Amy Comstock Rick appeared on BioCentury TV in September 2011 talking about the future of embryonic stem cell research, in light of the dismissed court case and pending legislation in Congress. Also featured in this episode of BioCenturyTV is Bob Klein, chairman, California Institute for Regenerative Medicine, who talks about why he supports funding for stem cell research.
