Muhammad Ali Gold Medal Bill (H.R. 1084)

PAN supports H.R. 1084, introduced by Rep. Andre Carson (D-IN), which would award a gold medal on behalf of Congress to Muhammad Ali in recognition of his contributions to the nation. Muhammad and Lonnie Ali are tireless advocates for the Parkinson’s community.

As founding directors of the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center (MAPC) in Phoenix, Arizona, Muhammad and Lonnie Ali have committed their time, resources, and leadership to the Center. A National Parkinson Foundation Center of Excellence, MAPC provides excellence in treatment, research, and education for patients and families affected by Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders. In addition to their work with the MAPC, the tenacity of spirit Muhammad and Lonnie Ali share with the Parkinson’s community at-large is a beacon for all who continue to fight for better treatments and cures.
