The Parkinson’s Action Network (PAN) celebrates President Bush’s signing of the Genetic Information Non-Discrimination Act of 2008.  This groundbreaking legislation makes it illegal for health insurance companies or employers to use a person’s genetic information to deny coverage or employment.

PAN Lauds FDA's Call for $275 Million

The Parkinson’s Action Network (PAN), today, lauded the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Commissioner, Andrew von Eschenbach, and his request for an immediate infusion of $275 million of funding for the FDA. Commissioner von Eschenbach’s request comes as a part of the emergency supplemental funding bill being considered in the House and Senate.
