Senate Emergency Supplemental Bill

PAN is pleased that there are two Parkinson’s-related funding provisions in the Senate emergency supplemental appropriations bill, which aims to provide funding for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan for the remainder of FY 2008.  
 
PAN Supports Medicare Access to Assistive Technology Act

The Parkinson’s Action Network (PAN) supports the passage of S. 2931, the Medicare Access to Complex Rehabilitation and Assistive Technology Act of 2008.  S. 2931, introduced by Parkinson’s Caucus Co-Chair Debbie Stabenow, will ensure that individuals living with Parkinson’s and other diseases will have access to necessary medical equipment through Medicare.
