UPDATE - Save Parkinson's Centers for Veterans!

The House of Representatives will vote to save the PADRECCs on Wednesday, December 6, 2006.  Legislation to protect the VA Parkinson's Centers, H.R. 6342 (formerly H.R. 2959), is the only remaining Parkinson's bill that must pass this year.

PAN announced that on September 29, 2006, President Bush signed into law $26.5 million in funding for the Neurotoxin Exposure Treatment Research Program (NETRP) which was created to investigate the causes, diagnosis, and treatments of Parkinson's disease.
 
Protect Parkinson's Research at the Department of Defense
