What's Next? Upcoming Dates to Remember
Keeping up with Washington can be tough. PAN has put together a list of important dates to keep in mind as you talk to your Members of Congress, community, and others about the policies that matter to the Parkinson’s community.
December 7, 2013 – Open enrollment for Medicare (including Part D prescription drug coverage) ends
December 13, 2013 – Deadline for the budget conference committee to report recommendations
December 15, 2013 – Deadline for individuals who are purchasing private coverage through the Health Care Exchanges to sign up for coverage so that their health coverage begins January 1, 2013
January 15, 2014 – Current continuing resolution to fund the federal government expires; additional sequestration cuts take effect
February 3, 2014 – President traditionally submits his Fiscal Year 2015 Budget to Congress on the first Monday in February
February 7, 2014 – The nation’s borrowing authority, also known as the debt ceiling, will expire
March 31, 2014 – Last day for individuals who are purchasing private coverage through the Health Care Exchanges to sign up for coverage to avoid a penalty
