Parkinson's Day of Action
Hundreds of Calls Made in Support of Parkinson's Issues
Yesterday, over one hundred of PAN's grassroots leaders were on Capitol Hill meeting with their Members of Congress to ask for increased funding for research and repeal of the Medicare therapy caps. But, they weren't alone. Throughout the day, as advocates walked the halls of Congress, their efforts were uplifted by your calls of support coming from back home.
We've all heard the saying "strength in numbers," and yesterday we showed Congress just how strong the voice of the Parkinson's community is. Thank you to everyone who made calls – it made a significant impact!
Take Steps Now to Ensure the Success of the 2015 Forum
Today marks the first day of planning for the 2015 PAN Forum, which will be held in Washington, DC on March 23 – 25, 2015. Building upon the success of yesterday means acting today! Simply put – more advocates in 2015 means our critical messages will be heard by more elected officials and people of influence.
Please consider making a donation to the 2015 PAN Scholarship Fund of $25, $50, $100, $250, or more. With your gift today, more members of the Parkinson's community will be able to attend the Forum and advocate on issues affecting those with Parkinson's disease.
Take a moment – right now – and make a tax-deductible contribution. All gifts made in the next 48 hours will be set aside for Forum scholarships for those who otherwise couldn't afford to attend.
