NIH Announces Public Meetings to Discuss Cutting-Edge Research Initiative
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has announced a series of four public meetings to discuss the Brain Research through Advancing Innovative Neurotechnologies (BRAIN) Initiative. The Parkinson's Action Network (PAN) believes the Initiative could represent a breakthrough in the ways collaborative science can be harnessed and deployed to find new ways to treat, cure, and prevent many diseases of the brain. While PAN is supportive of the Initiative, we want to ensure the voice of the Parkinson's community is heard during the planning process. We encourage you to participate, either in person or via phone, in one of the four public meetings listed below:
