On April 8, thousands will gather in Washington, D.C. to Rally for Medical Research – a unified call to our nation’s policymakers to make medical research funding a national priority. This call to action will raise awareness about the critical need for a sustained investment in the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to improve health, spur progress, inspire hope, and save lives.
The Parkinson’s Action Network (PAN) is a partnering organization and encourages you to participate in the Rally for Medical Research, as NIH funding is critical to finding new treatments and a cure for Parkinson’s disease. Even if you cannot be in Washington on April 8, the rally will be live-streaming on YouTube. Tune in to hear from great speakers including NIH Director Dr. Francis Collins, Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (D-CT), and Congressman Chris Van Hollen (D-MD)! Watch here .
