At the 2010 Parkinson’s Action Network (PAN) Forum, many speakers and participants joined together at the Newseum in Washington, DC.  Here are some of the sights throughout the day.

Nicholas G. LaRocca, Ph.D., Vice President, Health Care Delivery and Policy Research for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society speaks at the 16th Annual PAN Research & Public Policy Forum.

 

Francis Collins, M.D., Ph.D., Director of the National Institutes of Health, speaks with PAN Chief Executive Officer Amy Comstock Rick at the PAN Forum.

Dr. Collins spoke about Parkinson’s disease research and other research initiatives at NIH during his presentation at the PAN Forum.

Colonel Karl Friedl, Ph.D., Director, Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center, U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command, spoke to Forum participants about the Neurotoxin Exposure Treatment Parkinson’s Research (NETPR) program, the only Parkinson’s-specific program funded by the Federal government.
