PAN Staff Attend Health Conferences and Events

Over the last two weeks, several PAN staff were at Parkinson’s and other health conferences and events around the country. Here is a sample of those events.

Federation of State Medical Boards
Catherine Pugh, government relations manager, attended the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB) Annual Meeting in Denver, Colorado on April 23-26, where she testified on the FSMB’s model policy on telemedicine. Parkinson’s Unity Walk   
Amy Comstock Rick, CEO; Jennifer Sheridan, director of policy; Christopher Vance, director of development; and Jamie Tucker, senior government relations manager, attended the Parkinson’s Unity Walk in New York City’s Central Park on April 26. Learn more.

American Academy of Neurology
Jennifer Sheridan, director of policy, attended the American Academy of Neurology Annual Meeting April 26-May 3 in Philadelphia, PA. Session topics at the meeting included imaging for movement disorders, telemedicine, Parkinson’s progression markers, and much more. Learn more.

Alliance for Regenerative Medicine
Amy Comstock Rick, CEO, attended the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine (ARM) 5th Annual Dinner on April 28, and Jamie Tucker, senior government relations manager, attended the legislative fly-in day with ARM advocates on April 29. Amy also serves on ARM’s Executive Committee. Learn more.
