Over 50 Signatures Collected in Support of DoD Parkinson's research
Thanks to your outreach, over 50 bipartisan members of the House of Representatives signed onto a letter requesting $16 million for the Department of Defense (DoD) Parkinson's Research program in Fiscal Year (FY) 2015. That's over 10 percent of the entire body of the House and a stunning show of support in a tough fiscal year for a program that means so much to our military and the broader Parkinson's community.
We salute your efforts, and at a time when every signature matters, we are very grateful to have such a strong group of Members stand with us in advocating for the DoD program. Your emails and calls made all the difference.
As the appropriations process moves forward, we will keep you informed and reach out with any additional opportunities to connect with your Members of Congress about the importance of the DoD Parkinson's research program.
