2008 PAN Forum

The Parkinson’s Action Network (PAN) will host the 14th Annual Research & Public Policy Forum during the extended weekend of Saturday, February 2 through Monday, February 4, 2008 in Washington, D.C.

The 2008 Forum provides two days of training in advocacy and the latest scientific advances in Parkinson’s disease research, leading up to a final day of meetings with members of Congress on Capitol Hill.  Forum attendees learn about PAN’s 2008 legislative agenda and see the power of advocacy and the issues important to the Parkinson’s community.

The Forum also provides a unique opportunity to interact with others in the Parkinson’s community, and discover skills to take home to convey PAN’s message in a more effective way.  This annual gathering of advocates and leaders in the Parkinson’s community also gives those new to Parkinson’s advocacy the chance to learn from those who are active in grassroots activities.

A block of rooms is reserved for Forum advocates at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill.  Please remember to mention the Parkinson’s Action Network Forum to receive the discounted rate.  Hotel reservations should be made by calling the Hyatt at (202) 737-1234.  Please make your reservations no later than January 11, 2008.
