The Congressional Working Group and Caucus on Parkinson’s Disease are working to protect next year’s Parkinson’s disease research funding at the Department of Defense.
The Working Group and Caucus are circulating Dear Colleague letters to ensure that $26.5 million is provided for the NETRP to continue funding innovative Parkinson’s research. In addition, the Dear Colleague confirms the Parkinson’s focus of the program, which, since Fiscal 1997, has been to study neurodegenerative mechanisms and treatments with a special emphasis on Parkinson's disease.
