Parkinson's Disease Researchers Can Benefit From Newly-Created Grants

The U.S. Department of Defense has announced partial allocation of its $900 million to use for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).   The funding came on May 25, when the President signed into law the Emergency Supplemental Appropriations Bill that provides, among other things, the funding for treatment and research of PTSD and TBI.
Parkinson's researchers interested in securing grants related to stress or head trauma may be eligible for this funding.  PAN strongly encourages your applications for the grants.

Four awards have been created to go along with the grants.  Listed below are the grants and web sites, including descriptions and applications for each grant.   These awards will be administered by the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program at the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command.
