PAN Mourns the Loss of Bob Kupperman |

The Parkinson's Action Network (PAN) mourns the loss of Robert Kupperman after his long struggle with Parkinson's disease. He died Friday, November 24 at the age of 71.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Barbara, his daughter, Tamara, and his entire family on this sad day,” said Anne Udall, Chairman of PAN. “Bob was a brilliant man and one who was very dedicated to his family and country. He will be greatly missed but will be remembered forever.” Mr. Kupperman, considered one of the best terrorism experts, served several posts working for the US government including Assistant Director of the Office of Emergency Preparedness until 1973. He then became an adviser on counterterrorism to the National Security Council before joining the Arms Control and Disarmament Agency. Mr. Kupperman also wrote several terrorism-related books. Mr. Kupperman’s wife, Barbara, is a member of the board of directors at PAN.
